The Platter
Eggs your way, sausages, salad, bacon, mushrooms, fries, golden toast — the brunch that reviewers keep calling the best in town.
Lakeside Road · Pokhara
The all-day cafe travelers keep coming back to — three mornings in a single week, if the reviews are right. The platter, the banana bread, an upstairs terrace for people-watching, and coffee until eleven.
What to order
Eggs your way, sausages, salad, bacon, mushrooms, fries, golden toast — the brunch that reviewers keep calling the best in town.
Warm, dense, buttery — the one customers literally write home about. A solid argument for ordering two slices and a flat white.
Pulled by hand on a black ceramic cup, plus tiso pani, herbal warm drinks, and the CM Frappés the menu is famous for.
Our story (in two paragraphs)
CinderMint started as a small all-day spot for the kind of brunch you'd want after a long hike around the lake — fresh eggs, real coffee, banana bread baked the same morning, and a healthy bowl when you'd had enough of the heavier traveler menus everywhere else on the strip.
Now it's the place where backpackers, expats and Pokhara locals share the same wooden tables. We open early so you can eat before the day starts, and we stay open late so you can come back after dinner for a slice of cheesecake and a flat white. The terrace upstairs is small — that's the point — and our team has a habit of remembering your order by the second visit.
Nicest staff in the whole Pokhara. Girls are so lovely and helpful that it makes you keep coming back.

Look for the deep-teal awning with chunky white lettering — three minutes' walk from the lake.
